Leave the M6 at junction 40, then at the roundabout take the A66 exit west. After 29.5 miles, at the Cockermouth roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A5086. At 3.1 miles from the roundabout, after passing Paddle School on your left then Posting House pub on right, turn left into Pardshaw. Turn right at the bottom of the road and the cottage is about 50m on your right.
